Dina Sami

Dina Sami is a Palestinian illustrator and designer, born in the UAE and currently based between Los Angeles and Dubai. Her work turns everyday stories into rich visual worlds, often drawing from the people, streets, and objects that shaped her.

A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York, Dina moves fluidly between creative direction, illustration, and storytelling. She has collaborated with global brands including Apple, New Balance, Sephora, and Aldo, bringing cultural narratives to life across murals, packaging, apparel, and digital platforms. Known for her playful compositions and love of layered detail, Dina often creates “stories within stories” that spark emotion and nostalgia.

For Narrae, Dina was inspired by the world of her parents and grandmother, where every object held meaning. Old letters tucked in drawers, stamps from another time, the scent of coffee carried on brass trays. Her piece is a love letter to the homes that raised us and the small treasures that keep our stories alive.
